Minutes of May 9, 2004 meeting
Brockwell Room - Memphis Theological Seminary
Present: Barry Anderson, Dennis Beets, Tom Boulden, Bill Cupo, Janet Cupo, Alex Gray, Patrick Gray, Ann Marty, Bill Marty.
Dennis Beets opened the meeting with prayer.
Barry Anderson noted that Patrick Gray has an article published in Touchstone magazine.
Bill Marty reported on the Christianity in the Academy Conference. Three members of the group presented papers to the conference.
An e-mail from Don Johnson was read, announcing that he had relocated to California for a ministry job. He will be missed by the group.
Donations are solicited in honor of Dr. W. E. Knickerbocker’s thirty years of teaching at Memphis Theological Seminary.
Barry Anderson reminded everyone about the Christianity and the Academy Conference at the University of Memphis on April 2, 2004.
The program consisted of a discussion of An Experiment in Criticism chapters 5-7.
The next meeting will be on June 13 and the program will be a discussion of An Experiment in Criticism chapters 8-9.
