Barry Anderson presented a copy of the video featuring the Worship Service and Dedication of the C.S. Lewis Collection and Study Center at Memphis Theological Seminary. It is available for any member to view and will be stored in the Collection.
The Society has been asked to participate in a project of a Fourth-Grade Class in Chicago. After reading the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe in class, the students were invited to write letters to various characters in the book. We received a packet of letters and will provide responses from the characters. Copies of the letters and responses will be kept on file in the Collection.
It was noted that Dr. Knick Knickerbocker has announced his resignation from the faculty at Memphis Theological Seminary effective July 31, 2005. Anyone wishing to honor Knick and Sandie after 31 years of teaching may do so by making a donation to the Society. Gifts will be used to improve the Collection.
The program consisted of a discussion of Perelandra chapters 8-10.
The next meeting will be on December 12 at the home of Barry and Lisa Anderson in the Midtown area. The event will be a time of fellowship, food, and drink. The program will be a reading of one of Charles William’s Nativity Plays.
