Minutes of November 13, 2005 meeting

Library - Memphis Theological Seminary

Present: Barry Anderson, Dennis Beets, Tom Boulden, Kate Chilton, Janet Cupo, Rebecca Cupo, Alex Gray, David Moose, Judy Moose, Pamela Proietti, John Simmons, Linda Simmons.

Dennis Beets opened the meeting with prayer.

David Moose presented a clip from a recent National Public Radio program on the marketing of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.  Dennis Beets provided samples of the advertising campaign for the movie.

Barry Anderson led in a discussion of The Magician’s Nephew as a means of understanding the origin of Narnia.

The next meeting will be on December 11 and will be dedicated to a discussion of the movie, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.
