The meeting was opened with a reading from the Book of Common Worship for the Tenth Sunday after Trinity.
Barry Anderson served as moderator for the program, which consisted of discussion about favorite Lewis readings. Reading were presented from Letters to Malcolm: Chiefly on Prayer (chapter XII), a poem by G.K. Chesterton, The Great Divorce (chapter 5 ), and God in the Dock (chapter 2). Correspondence also was read from Douglas Gresham concerning his interpretation of Lewis' attitude towards capital punishment.
