Memphis C. S. Lewis Society Minutes of April 11, 1999 meeting Brockwell Room - Memphis Theological Seminary Present: Barry Anderson, Dennis Beets, Janet Cupo, Knick Knickerbocker, Ann Marty, Bill Marty, Andy McClung. Knick Knickerbocker opened the meeting with prayer. Dennis Beets distributed Volume 1, Issue 4 of The Unicorns Horn. Bill Marty reported on the 1999 Christianity in the Academy Conference held at the University of Memphis. Several members of the society presented papers. The program was a discussion of letters 10 11 of Letters to Malcolm: Chiefly on Prayer. An overview of the book was read from The Christian World of C. S. Lewis by Clyde S. Kilby. The next meeting will be on May 9. The program will be a discussion of Letters to Malcolm: Chiefly on Prayer, letters 12 - 15. Submitted by Barry Anderson |
