Memphis C. S. Lewis Society Minutes of June 11, 2000 meeting Brockwell Room - Memphis Theological Seminary Present: Barry Anderson, Alli Antemann, Dennis Beets, Janet Cupo, Sara O'Dell, Andy McClung. Dennis Beets opened the meeting with prayer. The group listened to a tape of Lewis' radio broadcast on The Four Loves - "Agape." Everyone participated in a discussion about Agape (Charity) and how it compared and contrasted to the other loves. A critical review of the work was read as a closing comment on the book. The next meeting will be July 16. Barry Anderson will lead a study of Boxen, a collection of stories written by Lewis when he was a child. Submitted by Barry Anderson |
