Memphis C. S. Lewis Society Minutes of January 13, 2002 meeting Classroom B - Memphis Theological Seminary Present: Barry Anderson, Dennis Beets, Tom Boulden, Bill Cupo, Janet Cupo, Knick Knickerbocker, Sandie Knickerbocker, Anna Leeper, Ann Marty, Bill Marty, Joey Rosas. Dennis Beets opened the meeting with prayer. Joey Rosas announced that last minute reservations are available for "An Inklings Weekend at the Cove" on January 18-19, 2002. The program was a viewing of a video of "The Magic Never Ends," the new documentary on the life and work of C. S. Lewis. Discussion followed. The next meeting will be on February 10. The topic will be the essay "Myth Become Fact" (God in the Dock) and the October 18, 1931 letter to Arthur Greeves discussing Lewis' understanding of myth. Submitted by Barry Anderson |
