Memphis C. S. Lewis Society Minutes of September 14, 2003 meeting Brockwell Room - Memphis Theological Seminary Present: Barry Anderson, Dennis Beets, Tom Boulden, Bill Cupo, Janet Cupo, Patrick Gray, Don Johnson, Knick Knickerbocker, Sandie Knickerbocker, Ann Marty, Bill Marty, Owen White. Dennis Beets opened the meeting with prayer. The program was a discussion of two essays in Christian Reflections, "Modern Theology and Biblical Criticism" and "The Seeing Eye." The next meeting will be on October 12. The program will be reviews of two recently published books about Lewis, C. S. Lewis at the BBC by Justin Phillips (presented by Tom Boulden) and Reading the Classics with C. S. Lewis by Thomas Martin (presented by Alex and Patrick Gray). Submitted by Barry Anderson |
